Constructed of 1/8 in. stainless steel aircraft cable with a stainless steel thimble attached at each end with 2 copper crimps. These flag arrangements provide the method of attaching the flag or flags to the cable assembly. This is also an excellent method for changing the number of flags or their size(s), without having to change the entire cable assembly.

This flagpole comes with a winch that is mounted inside the flagpole shaft, and is operatable using a removable crank handle. As the stainless steel cable unwinds from the winch, then it passes from inside the flagpole shaft over the truck sheave to outside of the shaft - and this is where the retaining ring provides a sliding anchor.
