Offering great value for money, the Okuma Carbonite XP Baitfeeder comes in a 40 and 55 size. The 55 size comes preloaded with 15lb green monofilament, the 40 size does not come preloaded with line. The Carbonite baitfeeder comes with a free spool system, this can be engaged with a lever located on the rear of the reel, engaging the baitfeeder mechanism allowing the reel to release line on a secondary clutch that can be preset to your desired tension. This stops your rod and reel from being dragged into the water from a progressing run. The Okuma Carbonite comes with a refined front drag system and features a 1 ball bearing drive system with a Precision Elliptical Gearing System that helps produce better line lay and a tough machined cut brass pinion gear for a robust and reliable driving force that works efficiently under a heavy load. The Carbonite XP baitfeeder comes with an even flow roller which helps reduce line twist ensuring increased line longevity and performance. Without this system, the line will naturally twist when the reel's drag is in use. The Hydro Block watertight drag seal is a unique rubber seal that blocks water and foreign materials from entering the drag system, ensuring that your drag washers always perform at optimal levels. The size 40 will take 160 metres of 15lb line. The size 55 will take 260 metres of 15lb line. Supplied with a spare graphite spool. You can select your choice of reel from our drop down menu.
