Top quality vintage Pioneer RT-707 Auto Reverse Reel To Reel recorder, rack mount, pitch control, back lit analogue meters, 3.75 + 7.50 speeds, industry standard for performance, build quality, design, craftsmanship and reliability. It was built when Pioneer was at the top of their game. It has the incomparable design, build quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship that only vintage Pioneer components can offer. It was purchased from the original owner and has never been serviced. It is complete. It tries to work, but the capstan/rollers will not stay engaged. It did get it to rewind, fast forward and play, but not for long. These typically need new drive belts, lubrication, etc. It has been dropped on the front left lower corner, nothing too serious-see picture. This deck has excellent potential as these were known for their excellent sound, musicality and build quality. It shows some wear from being in the garage. It is 120/220 volts. The heads show no wear as it was not used very much. It will be sold AS IS, AS DESCRIBED, NO RETURNS, NEEDS RESTORATION/REPAIR/CALIBRATION/ETC. All vintage reel to reels need this.
