AU GRES, Mich. - Have you caught any odd-looking walleye from Lake Huron? The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) said it had received several reports of possible tissue degeneration in walleye in the lake. Randy Claramunt, Lake Huron basin coordinator of the DNR, said it had been speculated that it could be sandy flesh disease, but testing would be needed to confirm the cause. Keith Dewald Jr. obtained photos of one of the questionable fish.
